Omer Thumba Lubala, from Lubumbashi, was born on 27 July 1999 into a Christian family of eight children. He came from a background that encouraged academic excellence, and went on to do a brilliant secondary education in business and management. Graduating in 2019, he combined his university studies with a job as a manager in a multiservice company specialising in Internet networks. Despite the financial difficulties caused by his father losing his job, Omer perseveres and fully assumes his role as family breadwinner.
Very attached to the values passed on by his family, particularly that of hard work and solidarity, he has taken on many entrepreneurial initiatives alongside his salaried activities. Keen to increase his chances of success, he actively participates in mentoring and coaching programmes run by recognised experts in the field of entrepreneurship.
Following five years' successful experience with the first company, Omer joined Cuisine Parfaite, where he quickly progressed to management positions. After three years of fruitful collaboration, punctuated by several internal promotions, he attained the status of assistant auditor. On the strength of his convincing performance at Cuisine Parfaite, Omer was offered a new challenge at EXPATMAN, an innovative, forward-looking company. He was appointed cashier.
Omer's fighting spirit and unfailing commitment are major assets that have enabled him to build an exemplary career. Marked by a deep-seated desire for autonomy and freedom, he relentlessly pursues his professional and personal goals, while retaining his taste for initiative and calculated risk.
