Migration crisis or crisis of welcome? The often tragic news of forced migration and sudden mobility is bringing to light borders in Europe that are not just on the periphery of its political and territorial construction.<\/p>\n

Migration crisis or crisis of welcome? The often tragic events of forced migration and sudden mobility in Europe reveal borders that are not just on the periphery of its political and territorial construction. Borders travel with those who have faced them and crossed them to live among us, if not really still with us. Embedded in the personal histories of these men and women, they are also the less visible ones constructed in public policy. Yves Pascouau and Estelle D'Halluin invite us to examine these borders of proximity, both visible and invisible, in hospitality and in the politics of hospitality.<\/p>\n
